On the agenda for tonight

Well,Chris's B-day is sunday, hes turning 5 which means he'll start school this year.Geez = ( .Anyways, the motorcross is coming to Thompson Boling Arena, so I think Im gonna take him down there tonight for his B-day. He loved the Monster Truck Jam that came,so I think he'll really like this. There will probaly be a dirt bike in his future when he sees this tonight. He was kinda aggravated I didnt go out and get a monster truck after the last show.

Happy Valentines Day

Yes,it is that time of year again for candy, cards, flowers, and being all lovey-dovey with your other! But guys, this year, bring your schmoopie down to Coal Creek Armory today, and ladies shoot free, and guys shoot half price with them. It makes for a cheap date. And nothings more romantic than putting some rounds down range.

Stripped Lowers

Well,we got in our new lowers. That price is too low to pass up, and it would get me a little closer to getting my AR built. After that, its just downhill. My guns' gonna be a mutt, be I think it adds character. So anyone building one, should come down and scoop one up before theyre all gone, because thats a great deal!

Bored Much?

Youre sitting there at work, been answering questions on the phone about store hours, range prices, and the price of whatever gun someone just built in the head and wants it ordered and be at the store by the next day, when the phone rings:
me-Coal Creek Armory
them-Yea,yall ever get any of dem AK's?
me-From time to time sir.
them-You gots to have a gunpermit to get one?
me-No sir, just fill out a 4473 and we call it in.
them-What if you have a criminal record?
me-Well,(me guessing its either a prank at this point,or some idiot) I guess it depends whats on it.
them-Just convicted of a couple of drive-bys.
me-Um,probaly not so much then. *click*, they hang up.Glad to help sir.

Shootin in the Dark

Well, the day started out great yesterday.I got the stuff I needed to do done before work, got to work early, which is really good for me,and work was moving at a steady pace. And *BAM* the power goes out.We still have people out on the range at this point, so Tam had to grab her goggles, ears, and surefire and head out and get the people still out there shooting,to come back into the store. But it was interesting,we got to try out our flashlights, and we still sold a couple of guns. The power came back on about an hour later, and the rest of the night ran smoothly.
I just got my Surefire G2 and was pretty impressed with it. I got the OD Green one, but on their site it looks yellow.

Todays Schedule

Well, I know posting has been light, but I just havent been able to find time to get on here. So much pressure to keep the readers happy! Well, Im off work today, and The US Hot Rod Monster Truck Jam is here(Redneck Heaven right there), so Im going to take Chris to it tonight. Not that I get into huge jacked-up trucks*cough*, but I think he'll love it!
It's back to work tommorrow, and Im glad I got some well-needed rest, because the way its been at work lately, Im sure it's gonna be slammed. We've had non-stop waiting lists to get on the range. But not complaining, that means I still get paid this week, and that were probaly not going out of business anytime soon. Well, I have to get off here and get Chris A.K.A Spiderman, off the top of the fridge. Or I could hand him a duster while he's up there and kill two birds with one stone.

Happy New Year

Well, I havent been posting for awhile, with the feeling all icky from a cold, but I hope everybody had a good Christmas and a Happy New Years! I went out with my friends last night to cotton eyed joes. Paid $15 to get in so I didnt have to stand in the line that was wrapped around the building, got my shoes puked on by my best friend, right in front of the bar( but it was her bday too,so I think she double dosed it),had to keep another friend out of a fight, and later that night had to pull over so she could bark at the road. But,besides dealing with the growling splash monkeys, and the not being able to walk without rubbing elbows with some drunk, hairy, Ron Jeremy in the 70's look-a-likes, I guess I had an alright time. I think next year I might just stay home and watch the ball drop.Maybe my New Years resolution should be figuring out why I even continue to drag myself out to the places.
